Press for champagne
The literal button. Pull it and the night turns - that is roughly the whole programme.
02
The right crowd
Founders, funds, friends of the door. Bring someone you'd like us to meet - a recommendation, not a rule.
03
Off the record
What is said at the bar stays at the bar - which is, of course, where the real conversations happen.

  6. thyme sprig to finish

Carry on the conversation.

Looking for intros to procurement directors at large retailers. The pilot is ready; I need a first big customer. Grateful for any connection.

Thanks to everyone who came on Friday. I wrote down three things I'm changing in the product this week - and one cocktail.

After last Friday I rebuilt onboarding on advice from the bar - activation is up 18%. Next round is on me.

Tell someone.

Nearly everyone who ends up at this bar heard about it from someone already leaning on it. That's the whole marketing plan.

TelegramWhatsApp

Or name someone, and we'll pass the invitation on.

Want to come to the next one?

Leave your name and email and we'll tell you where and when.

Chip in if you wish

Entry is free. Bring a bottle of something you love, a mix you're into, or nothing but yourself. Some Fridays turn into tastings - a case of California has been known to appear.

Bring someone

Were you there?

A photograph, a few words, or both. What a Friday gave you: "met my co-founder here", "stopped dreading the room", whatever it was.

Short answers

What people usually ask.

Who is this for?

People building their own thing: founders, co-founders, early employees with equity, and the friends who keep them company. A founder-to-founder evening, not a place to sell services.

What language is spoken?

Whatever the room speaks - in Moscow mostly Russian, with plenty of English throughout. There is almost always someone from another country at the bar, so nobody is left out.

Do I need a pitch or slides?

No. Nobody has ever pitched well holding a coupe. A few minutes in plain words, when it comes up.

Can I join online?

Not really - the whole point is the same room. Raise a glass wherever you are and tag yourself in the photos when they land.

It's my first time. Is it awkward?

Almost every Friday has new faces. The bar is the easiest place in the world to say hello: ask what someone is drinking.

What if I don't drink?

Half the bar is mocktails; the Verjus fizz is ours. Nobody counts, nobody asks.

Can I bring a bottle?

Please. Something you love, a mix you're into, a story to go with it. Some Fridays turn into tastings.

7pm? I am a morning person.

Then Founders Coffee, Thursdays at nine, is yours. Same people, different glass - and the two crowds argue about which of them has more fun.

Not another feed: a real room of founders. On Fridays we step out of Telegram, Zoom and the phone to share what actually worked this week, glass in hand.

  1. 01

    Friday

The first clink. Cocktails, a few rooms, a real conversation.

  2. 02

    Intensive

Those who want to go deeper join our programs: product, metrics, go-to-market.

  3. 03

    Global

Silicon Valley, BRICS, partner networks. We help founders outgrow a single market.

  4. 04

    Investment

Sometimes our fund joins the round. By then we know exactly who we are backing.

  5. 05

    Friends

And most often, we simply become friends. And that part is forever.

A letter, occasionally.

Cohort openings, party invitations, the odd confession. Once a fortnight at most, and never boring - we'd be too embarrassed.
